The story goes that when America’s Got Talent judge David Hasselhoff laid eyes upon comic impersonator and puppet master of sorts Terry Fator he said, “Oh, no, a ventriloquist.” But c’mon, we only trust the Hoff’s expertise when it comes to cheeseburgers and home video. Fator proved Sir Baywatch wrong and went on to win the show…and within a year of playing to sparse audiences at county fairs. He can impersonate nearly 100 celebs, has more than a dozen puppets in his arsenal and next year will be able to claim his own theater in Vegas’ Mirage hotel where he’ll perform seemingly nonstop for five years. Catch Texas native Fator before he’s lost to Sin City when he plays Bass Hall in Fort Worth 8 p.m. Tuesday. Tickets are $35 to $65. Call 1-877-212-4280 or visit basshall.com.
