How The Grinch Stole Christmas is already a legend. Written in 1957, it’s a clever little criticism on the commercialization of Christmas. There’s the Grinch who tries to ruin everything by stealing Christmas altogether and there are The Whos that celebrate the spirit of the season even when they’re tinsel-free. Eventually The Grinch’s heart grows three sizes and he joins The Whos in a feast of Roast Beast. November 19 through the 24, How The Grinch Stole Christmas The Musical will make its debut in Fort Worth at Bass Hall, 525 Commerce St. The sets are spectacular and bring the original illustrations of Dr. Seuss to life. Fun fact to pass the time until the curtain goes up — in 1998 and 1999, Vanessa Hudgens appeared as Cindy Lou Who at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego. There’s probably an undiscovered star in this version too. Tickets start at $22 and are available now at tickets.basshall.com.
