To paraphrase the old Saturday Night Live skit, if it’s not A Scottish Christmas, it’s crap. Which is all the more reason why you want to catch A Scottish Christmas, a veritable holiday extravaganza coming to the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth. The event will include traditional Scottish carols, dance and, of course, bagpipes. It will also feature the three-time U.S./Scottish fiddle champion Bonnie Rideout, who will play a stirring rendition of “Emmanuel” and a “Devil Went Down to Georgia.” OK, we’re lying on one of those. A Scottish Christmas comes to Bass Performance Hall, 4th and Calhoun Streets in Fort Worth, on Wednesday. Tickets range from $30 to $40. Call
