You could use some baseball. At least that’s what the Rangers‘ ad campaign keeps telling you. So do yourself a favor and head to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington to catch a glimpse of a young team trying to stay afloat in the AL West race. With a lineup powered by All-Stars Josh Hamilton, Ian Kinsler, Michael Young and Milton Bradley, Texas should put plenty of runs up on the board. But, as always, the Rangers’ pitching, well, sucks. After a nine-game road trip following the All-Star break, the team comes home for a four-game series against the Mariners, one of the worst teams in baseball. Seattle isn’t much to look at, but outfielder Ichiro Suzuki is a future Hall-of-Famer in my book. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. For more information call 817-273-5100 or visit texasrangers.com.
