On Thursday, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra hosts Grammy Award-winning band Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano for a Navidad-inspired musical celebration. The group, led by Mexican-born mariachi legend Natividad “Nati” Cano, has been performing for more than 50 years. Expect to be wowed. This group is composed of the finest mariachi players out of Mexico and the United States, with musicians known for their virtuosity and soloing flexibility. These guys are amazing; you’ll want to hear each one individually. In collaboration with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Mariachi Los Camperos will perform Fiesta Navidad, an evening of festive holiday music and mariachi favorites. The performance takes place at the Meyerson Symphony Center in the Arts District, 2301 Flora St. Tickets range from $21 to $70 and are available at dallassymphony.com.
