There’s nothing sexy about comedy, right? Carrot Top is a total boner shrinker and don’t get us started on Louie Anderson… But there’s an exception to every rule, or maybe just an ironic title. Starting at 7 p.m. Thursday and running through the weekend, The Alternative Comedy Theater at Margo Jones Theatre in Fair Park, 1121 First Avenue, is putting the “O” in LOL with Big Sexy Weekend of Improv. No striptease, no wiener tassels, just good old fashioned audience participation and absurdity. With a minimum of two shows a night and troupes with names like Panda Butt and Unicorn Clearance, the yuks are going to be doubled at a minimum. This ain’t no Dallas troupe only show either, they’re pulling in the big guns from Austin, Norman, Oklahoma and even dear, sweet Plano. Can the suburbs be funny?!? Show up to find out.
