He joins the mix of talent being honored at the Modern’s (3200 Darnell St., Fort Worth) newest performance series, “Sounds Modern,” which plays music by Cage and his contemporaries, like double Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and all-around mack daddy Elliot Carter, for free on select afternoons.
