Booker T. Washington’s Dance Department is at it again. They are preparing for their annual Evening of Dance that showcases the talent of students and their performing companies, Repertory Dance Company I, Repertory Dance Company II, and World Dance Ensemble. There will new works from guests Jason Ambrose, Juel D. Lane, and Sidra Bell of Sidra Bell of Sidra Bell Dance New York. They will also be bring back audience and dancer favorites from Takehiro Ueyama, Moussa Diabate, and Jonathan Campbell. Rep II performed Campbell’s “Confetti and Razorblades” at the Dallas Dance Fest to rave reviews, so if that is any indication, this weekend of performance is going to be killer. Be there at 7 p.m. Thursday or Friday, or the following Thursday, November 20 at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, 2501 Flora Street, Dallas. $15.
