One of the greatest thrills of interleague play is the chance to relive rare World Series match-ups of long ago: Cardinals-Yankees! Blue Jays-Phillies! Cubs…and the Rangers. OK, no high-stakes rivalry here, but Arlington may be the last place on earth where an honest Cubs fan can talk a little trash. Butch Cassidy was still alive the last time they won a title, but at least they’ve tasted the champ life. Still, the Rangers are 4-2 against the Cubs all-time, a winning tradition stretching all the way back to Hideki Irabu. First pitch is 7:05 p.m. at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, with post-game fireworks. Check texasrangers.com for tickets.
