Nothing’s worse than planning something extensively, then having said plan implode right before your eyes. It’s especially frustrating when that plan is a homicide, and all that time spent to meticulously plot every detail of the grand scheme goes down the drain. In Kiss the Boys, a gay couple’s plan to off an enemy quickly turns into a dubious murder plot gone awry. What was supposed to be a simple poisoning during a dinner party gets complicated when uninvited guests show up at the front door. Now the boys have to rework their twisted tactics if they hope to succeed–and avoid becoming the victims themselves. Come see a new take on the old whodunit at the Stone Cottage Theatre, 15650 Addison Road in Addison. The production–nominated for the 2007 Column Award for Best New Play–runs until August 21. Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sun., Aug. 22, 2:30 p.m. Starts: July 29. Continues through Aug. 21, 2010
