Even though I was raised Jewish and was part of several community groups that reinforced my Jewish identity, I never dated a Jewish guy. Unless you call what happened at summer camp with Jason Kaplan in 1982 dating, and nobody in their right mind would. I am now happily married to the perfect goyisha husband, but if I weren’t, I might be curious enough to hop on over to the Matzoh Ball. This Thursday, The Jewish Community Center of Dallas presents the 30th Annual Matzoh Ball at Aura Lounge, 2912 McKinney Ave., from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Jewish singles of all ages (over 21, that is) are invited to enjoy special drink prices, delicious kosher snacks and other indulgences.
