Every family has dirty laundry and dark secrets. Siblings pull hair, throw punches and argue over who used up all the shampoo. Even the Huxtables had their fair share of mistakes and fights. The eldest daughter, Sondra, didn’t appear until halfway through the first season. Maybe she was the one in the Huxtable family, the one who held the deep, dark secret. But in all honesty, how far is any clan willing to go to put aside bickering brawls when a loved one dies? Find out with the Majestic Theater’s presentation of There Is One in Every Family. Starring gospel recording artists Shirley Murdock and Luther Barnes, four estranged brothers must put aside their differences and come together for the family funeral of their beloved Mama Cora. Performances will be held at the Majestic, 1925 W. Elm St., Tuesday through October 18 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $29.50 to $49.50. Visit liveatthemajestic.com.
