$10,000

On Thursday night, Arlington Improv (309 Curtis Mathes Way, #147, Arlington) presents DFW Stand-Up Superstars, a curated night of North Texas comedy from Houston-based entertainment house Sol-Caritas. It is suggested that before taking in this show, you “forget everything you know about comedy,” which is as nerve-wracking as ending a party timeline with “til ???” On the bill are two of Sol-Caritas’ artists, Crystal Powell and Piper the Comedian, a pair of comics not known for holding their tongues. Throw in Toni Slaughter and Comedian Q and you’ve got a night of comedy that could be described as “real talk.” Show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets cost $15 to $25. Call 817-635-5555.
