Honestly, we are poor military historians, so what little we know about the Dallas Artillery Company–which eventually became Battery A of the Texas National Guard’s 133rd Field Artillery Unit–comes courtesy of intense Googling. Luckily for you, local historian Ed Owens knows quite a bit more than we do, seeing as how he sits on the staff of the Dallas Historical Society and all.
