Milton Glaser, designer of the most frequently imitated logo design in human history, is finally coming to Dallas. The legend behind the I ♥ NY logo is also famous for his poster of Bob Dylan with psychedelic hair and Brooklyn Brewery’s branding and packaging. His Dallas show is part of W.A.A.S. Gallery’s Print This, featuring a dozen artists and designers, many of them local. Glaser is the co-founder of New York magazine, and his design companies are responsible for designs at The Washington Post, Time, U.S. News & World Report, Adweek, The Nation, PC Magazine and more outside the U.S. Glaser has shown solo at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and received a 2009 Medal of Arts. One of the most influential graphic artists and designers in the last half-century speaks at 6 p.m. Saturday, with a reception following at 7.
