I think it’s safe to say we’ve come to the point in our society where Internet flirting is a generally accepted form of courtship. In the interest of full disclosure, I do say this as someone who met their significant other on MySpace, but I still stand behind my statement. Digital Dating, a new exhibit by artist John Pomara, has nothing to do with actual dating, however, instead focusing on colorful, pixelated depictions of the “visual condition of urbanism.” Take your cyber friends to check out this poorly named exhibit through November 24 at the Barry Whistler Gallery, 2909-B Canton St. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Call 214-930-0242 or visit barrywhistlergallery.com.
Wednesdays-Saturdays. Starts: Oct. 20. Continues through Nov. 24, 2007
