$10,000

For those who prefer to eat, sleep and breathe their craft, there’s nothing like the full-on immersion of an artist’s residency. And as far as artist residencies go, we can’t think of many better places for one than Fair Park. UT Dallas agreed, and Centraltrak was born. With that as the creative hub, the artists’ interpretations of landscapes are liable to be as diverse as the place they create in. Find out for yourself at Geomorph, Centraltrak’s latest exhibition. Geomorph runs from noon to 5 p.m Wednesdays through Saturdays through September 15 at Centraltrak, 800 Exposition Ave. Admission is free. Call 214-824-9302 or visit utdallas.edu/centraltrak.

Wednesdays-Saturdays, 12-5 p.m. Starts: Aug. 21. Continues through Sept. 15, 2008
