I half expected The Girl From Monaco to be a documentary on the lovely Princess of Monaco. Wrong! Don’t expect to find Grace Kelly “gracing” this foreign flick. She’s too classy for the role of Audrey Varella, a sexy TV weathergirl with an edge for the wild. When famous French attorney Bertrand agrees to represent Edith, an heiress accused of killing her younger, mafia-related lover in Monaco, his attention to the case is short-lived after meeting the seductive and conniving Varella. Despite warnings from his tight-lipped bodyguard, Christophe (one of Varella’s former lovers), Bertrand is smitten by the sexy vixen, falling under her spell. When things get messy, this comedy takes a much darker turn. Showtimes are 6 and 8 p.m. Friday, 5 p.m. Saturday, and 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Forth Worth, 3200 Darnell St. Tickets are $8.50, $6.50 for Modern members.
