We’re doing well if we don’t take our breakfast straight from the bottle. Coffee and a banana is as good as it gets most hectic mornings, and when we have time for more, we’re mostly limited to scrambled eggs and Bisquick pancakes. If you’re like us, you could use some help from cooking instructor Dean Liesenfelt in the class Breakfast Treats. From 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, he guides you through recipes for German pancake souffle, date quick bread with pecan streusel, raspberry scones and pineapple clafoutis at Central Market Plano, 320 Coit Road. Seats ($45) and more information are at 469-241-8389 or centralmarket.com.

Sun., Sept. 25, 2-4:30 p.m., 2011
