So sorry to be the bearer of grim news, Frisco, but the mass exodus has already begun. The Rangers best pitching prospect, Eric Hurley? He’s hurling for the big club now. Catcher Max Ramirez? He, too, is in the show. Chris Davis? Gone. Yes, it’s prospect-reaping time for your Texas Rangers, and, finally, they’re reaping this crop so the big club can actually, well, compete. And while the Rangers brass has gone over the RoughRiders’ cupboard more than a few times, there’s still plenty of stock remaining on the roster. Better catch them fast, though, before another untimely injury forces Daniels to bring up Elvis Andrus or Thomas Diamond a little earlier than expected.
