As Las Vegas grows more commercialized, the schmaltz of old Vegas is being pushed out for the big bucks of arena headliners. So what’s a lounge singer, or excuse me, “interpreter of standards,” supposed to do when his stage gets mowed down to make room for Celine Dion or Elton John? They take their satin-jacketed charm to the stages of civic symphonies in whatever neck of the woods will have them. Take Steve Lippia: He’s not a Frank Sinatra impressionist, but he’s got a show called Simply Sinatra that includes “Come Fly With Me” and “My Way.” The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra performs Simply Sinatra with Steve Lippia 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Bass Performance Hall, Calhoun and Fourth streets in Fort Worth. Tickets are $24 to $76. Call 817-665-6000 or visit fwsymphony.org.
