Each March, the Fort Worth Symphony League hosts one of the biggest and best garage sales around. Yeah, the violinists and French horns cough up some second-hand treasures, but because donations are collected throughout the community, there’s plenty of quality junk like antiques, books, housewares, electronics, tools, home décor and Christmas items. The sale, located at 6242 B Hulen Bend Blvd. (formerly a Drug Emporium), benefits the Children’s Education Program of the FW Symphony Orchestra Association. A preview party and sale takes place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Regular sale hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission on Friday is $5; no charge for the rest of the weekend. Call 817-665-6500.

Fri., March 24, 4-8 p.m.; Sat., March 25, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sun., March 26, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
