The summer of deep V’s is winding down, but Tosh Tour Twenty Ten is just getting warmed up. If you don’t chuckle at misogyny and racism, stop reading here. But if racial humor, gay jokes, nut punches and vomit are your thing, then Daniel Tosh is your man. Well, this is a theater show, so there may not be much vomit, but bawdy, offensive humor is pretty much guaranteed. If you’ve never heard of Tosh, just turn on Comedy Central at any time and you’ll likely catch his show, Tosh.0, which features the comedian’s take on viral videos and awkward interviews with Internet sensations. Tosh is never afraid to make himself the fool or the butt of any joke, no matter how ridiculous the costume or scenario. Of course, on cable, the bleep reigns supreme, so to see Tosh at his raunchiest, you gotta catch him live. Texas loves ’em some Daniel Tosh, apparently, since he’s playing seven shows in Texas, including two in Dallas. Catch him at the Majestic Theater, 1925 Elm St., at 7:30 or 10 p.m. Thursday. Tickets are $43.25. Call 214-373-8000 or visit ticketmaster.com. Daniel Tosh’s jaw-droppingly inappropriate jokes let us express what we think but would never say aloud–and for that, we thank him.
Thu., Sept. 30, 7:30 & 10:30 p.m., 2010
