Put on your chicest island attire, learn a few beach dance moves and help SPCA, North Texas’ leading animal welfare agency, keep operating. It’s the Fur Ball Gala at the Hilton Anatole. For every animal taken into custody–and there are thousands–SPCA spends an average of $320. Last year’s Fur Ball raised $250,000 toward the society’s multimillion-dollar budget. To raise even more this year, guests to this year’s event–Paws of Paradise–can bid on golf outings, NorthPark Center shopping, fine wines, spa and weekend escapes, and more at the live auction while enjoying music by DJ Lucy Wrubel. Individual seats are $150 each and may be purchased online. For more information, visit spca.org or call 214-461-1830.
