Nothing is more timeless than the battle between good and evil, and in no place is it more apparent than in great works of literature. In Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time, that battle is fought by the young, as Meg and Charles Wallace Murry and their friend Calvin join forces with some heavenly immortals to save the Murry parents (and the rest of the universe) in a battle against the ultimate evil. A memorable adventure that has been enjoyed by generations for 50 years, the Newbery Award winning sci-fi/fantasy book has been adapted for the stage by Taffy Geisel, and it has found a great home at the Artisan Center Theater. Check out A Wrinkle in Time at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Artisan Center Theater in the Belaire Plaza, 420 E. Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are Mondays through Saturdays through August 31 (no performances Wednesdays). Tickets are $14 to $18 for adults, with child, student and senior discounts available. Call 817-284-1200 or visit artisanct.com.
