Wikipedia is my source of all sources, so when the idea of covering the Frisco RoughRiders came up, I went the wiki way. Sadly, there wasn’t too much info, but then I realized that this may be a good thing. See, we have an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor here (OK, yes, the team has been around for a few years, but many of us never even knew where Dr Pepper Ballpark was until IKEA opened up), and check out the Texas Rangers’ Class AA team, full of up and comers on their way to the big leagues. The season is just starting, so kick it up to Frisco and check out your future favorite home team as they take on the Arkansas Travelers 7 p.m. Monday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark, 7725 Gaylord Parkway. Tickets are $7 to $19. Call 972-731-9200 or visit ridersbaseball.com.
