There’s no need to deny it. You know you’ve been deprived recently. You’re hot and sweaty and longing for a dip into a luxurious pool of gallery events. Well, you won’t have to wait any longer. Dip into the Bath House Cultural Center’s summer lineup with Fresh Faces 2×2 and Todo Sobre mi Madre-All About My Mother. Bathe in the glory of new talent, mixed media and family inspired art. Enjoy works from some of biggest up-and-comers in DFW with the Fresh Faces collection, featuring artists like Anita Horton, Benjamin Vincent, Jose Cruz and Joyce Martin. And don’t forget about Maria Teresa Garcia’s Todo Sobre mi Madre-All About My Mother exhibition. The collection, inspired by the artist’s late mother, includes mixed medias of colored photographs and glass-soldered houses. Both events take place at the Bath House Cultural Center, 521 East Lawther Drive, through June 15. Gallery hours are 12 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Visit dallasculture.org.
