Ever been to First Monday Trade Days in Canton? No? Wait, let me guess: It’s too far. It’s outside. Whatever. Wussies get a major break when the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S. Main St., hosts Canton In the City during the biggest shopping weekend of the year. Screw buying a sweater everyone will be wearing come Christmas; instead browse through and find personal gifts from more than 70 vendors with custom creations ranging from wrought iron to botanicals to tasty treats. Watch out for vintage finds mixed in as well. The shopping area is 23,500 square feet, so come prepared with your dough and–if you’re serious–a rolling cart. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, but discounts (and more info) are available at CantonintheCity.com.
