The plot of Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks sounds oh-so-vagely reminiscient of The Graduate. “A widow decides to reawaken her ballroom dancing skills and finds a young man to tutor her in her Florida condominium,” the description reads. Maybe, probably, we’re just being crass, but Theatre Three’s description does go on to say that elder and younger clash during her twirling renaissance and ultimately “bring order to their disordered lives.” Hot. Terry Dobson is directing the show production, which includes Bob Hess and Elly Lindsay and starts Friday at 8 p.m. Additional preview performances are Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The show runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday sat 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. through September 20. Tickets cost $20 to $30. For more information call 214-871-3300 or visit theatre3dallas.com.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2:30 p.m. Starts: Aug. 28. Continues through Sept. 20, 2009
