Ah, fair Romeo thou art not to miss The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged! for there you’ll find comedic bliss. Teen angst, poison, sword fighting, love, betrayal, gossip, lies, slander, and oh let’s not forget the banter, are all part of a day’s work when it comes to the late but oh-so-great Shakes. Join The Motley Players, an improvisational group who travels all across the state performing satire, as they combine all 37 of Shakespeare’s classics into 97 minutes of wit, drama and slapstick comedy. Ah fair, Romeo you are cheer bliss, just please don’t forget to seal it with a kiss. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged! was written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield and takes place 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through June 11 at The Black Box Theater, 1301 Custer Road, Suite 706.
