Not everybody’s love life should be put onstage, and there are plenty of sordid stories better left untold. But if they were, Oral Fixation wouldn’t be quite such a smashing success. The monthly storytelling series thrives on the intimate, unsavory details local writers are willing to share with the world. At 8 p.m. Monday, Oral Fixation hosts its annual Valentine’s Day show with the theme “No Strings Attached.” The night is sure to be filled with stories of first kisses, scandalous stints and one-night stands while also broaching more sober topics. The first requirement for every story in the program is that they be true. This raw honesty might be why these shows in the Hamon Hall are among the most popular events in Dallas.
