Oh, I feel really wrong right now. I am walking on eggshells, trying not to make a very un-P.C. joke about the Inwood Theatre’s latest Midnight Madness selection. The awesome part is that the film, Chocolate, is making its Dallas debut. If you love Ong Bak: The Thai Warrior, then Chocolate may be worth watching, mostly because it’s directed by the same guy. The female lead apparently trained five years for this part. Here lie the eggshells–she portrays an autistic girl who learns martial arts from the movies to exact revenge on those who bankrupted her mother. So I ask myself: Were those five years spent training for the martial arts or something else altogether? Chocolate debuts midnight Friday and Saturday at the Inwood Theatre, 5458 W. Lovers Lane.
