The Dallas Symphony Orchestra presents Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s dazzling symphonic suite Scheherazade. For this performance, the DSO welcomes back guest conductor Hans Graf and celebrated pianist Stephen Hough—who’s previously recorded with the DSO on several occasions. Stravinsky’s Song of the Nightingale and Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 open the program. The concert plays the Meyerson Symphony Center (2301 Flora St.) at 7:30 p.m. Thursday – Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. For additional information visit mydso.com.

Fridays, Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 2, 2:30 p.m. Starts: Oct. 31. Continues through Nov. 1, 2014
