Pamplona’s Running of the Bulls is an event of ultimate machismo, with men hurdling down narrow streets, pursued by rampaging half-ton bulls. Cafe Madrid’s running of the bulls might not be as thrilling thanks to the foam horns of its “bull,” but it could be just as fun. This annual celebration includes flamenco dancing, live music as well as regional dishes and drinks. Anyone who shows up decked out in red and white, the traditional colors of the event, can pose with the faux-bull to commemorate their “daring” dash. If running from mascots isn’t your thing, fear not. Cafe Madrid will also raffle off prizes, such as gift certificates, t-shirts and, perhaps most importantly, wine. The event takes place at Cafe Madrid, 4501 Travis St., Saturday, July 7 and runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, visit cafemadrid-dallas.com.
