Mike Epps has some huge bleeping shoes to fill. Rising up from 2000’s Next Friday to Resident Evil: Extinction and on to Hancock and Soul Men, Epps has been making his mark on film. His comic relief is easy and natural, but his next role will be far from effortless: Epps is slated to play legend Richard Pryor in the biopic based on Rain Pryor’s Jokes My Father Never Told Me. No punchline there. But until he guns for an Oscar, Epps will stop by to headline the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road, Thursday through Saturday. Tickets are $30. Call 972-404-8501 or visit improv.com.
