It’s not uncommon to suffer from coulrophobia, a.k.a. the fear of clowns. Lots of people have it. Those people might think twice before seeing Joey Seeman‘s exhibition at Canvas Gallery. But it might be worth overcoming that fear to see the work, some of which stars Ronald McDonald, and uses the paintings to provide a new view of the age-old struggle of David vs. Goliath.
Art for the Masses opens with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and runs through April 5 (by appointment) at Canvas Gallery, 824 Exposition, #3. Admission is free. Call 214-674-5143 or visit canvas-gallery.com.
