The best Christmas show in the world might just be THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER! What? You thought The Nutcracker or A Christmas Carol? Boring! Think holiday chaos, questions about the true meaning of Christmas, and the six worst children in the history of the world: the grimy and unruly Herdman kids. If you ever thought it was strange that Mary and Joseph had to go to a motel in Bethlehem to pay their taxes, that shepherds walked around wearing bathrobes in public, or that the Angel of the Lord seemed like it could have been the Mighty Marvel in Wonder Comics, well, it doesn’t matter your religious persuasion, this not-so-traditional Yuletide blockbuster is for you. The Dallas Children’s Theater presents its 15th production of Barbara Robinson’s THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER!, based on the book, with a cast of 100 performers at the Rosewood Center for Family Arts. Tickets range from $14 to $23 and showtimes are at 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Discounts are available for college students and senior citizens. For more information, call 214-740-0051 or visit dct.org.
