Will you step up to support Dallas Observer this year?
At the Dallas Observer, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $14,000 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of the Dallas Observer, now’s the time to give back.
Après Ski New Year’s Eve Party at The Village
5605 Village Glen Dr | 9:30 p.m. – 2 a.m. (Datey mixer 8:30 – 9:30 p.m.)
Dallas isn’t likely to see any snow this NYE, but The Village Country Club will still be festively decked out with faux snow for an alpine-inspired après ski party. If you’re also hoping to start 2026 with the love of your life, a $30 ticket to the Datey Pre-Party Mixer for singles adds access to a private lounge area and a themed cocktail to enjoy before the main event.
Black & White NYE Masquerade at Hotel ZaZa
2332 Leonard St | 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Looking for an excuse to dress up? There’s no better time than NYE, and no better backdrop than Hotel ZaZa’s masquerade ball. Dressing to impress and bringing a mask are both encouraged. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment before toasting during the midnight countdown. Your general admission ticket includes wine, beer and cocktails from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., though premium drinks incur an additional cost.
Cosmic Cabaret at Meow Wolf Grapevine
3000 Grapevine Mills Pkwy, Ste. 253, Grapevine | 8 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
This NYE, Meow Wolf’s mind-bending immersive exhibit The Real Unreal adds a cast of Dallas’ finest performers for a fully immersive celebration. You can still explore The Real Unreal, but you’ll be joined by gothic alternative burlesque and drag troupe Nightshade Burlesque, the Circus Bitties troupe and a tarot storyteller. Virtual reality telepresence performers will also appear in real time thanks to the Peppercast platform, pushing the boundaries between virtual and physical in true Meow Wolf fashion. Even if you have too much champagne, this will surely be a NYE you won’t forget.
Ignite the Night Party at La Mina
5605 Village Glen Dr | 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Turn up the heat with live DJ sets and a midnight champagne toast at The Village’s onsite underground nightclub. Snag discounted early-bird tickets before they sell out here – day-of admission is priced at $75. Or splurge on a reserved VIP table for six that includes two bottles of champagne and exclusive party favors.
Lights All Night at Dallas Market Hall
2200 N. Stemmons Fwy
Dance music’s biggest DJs–think Ilenium, Mau P, RL Grime and Sara Landry–will perform across three stages in the 15th iteration of this multi-day festival. Expect lasers and lights that will turn Dallas Market Hall into a neon wonderland. Several tiers of tickets have already sold out, but a few general admission spots are left here.
New Year’s Eve at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra
2301 Flora St | 7:30 p.m.
Let the sounds of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra score your night in the grandest of ways. The evening’s program will include waltzes, polkas, marches and operetta excerpts, as well as tunes by Johann Strauss, Jr. to celebrate both the New Year and the composer’s 200th birthday. For a true night to remember, purchase the premium experience and enjoy a four-course buffet dinner and private reception during intermission.
New Year’s Eve at Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar
6765 Winning Dr, Frisco | 7 p.m. – 2 a.m.
For something a little different from typical NYE entertainment, head over to Pete’s at The Star to see high-energy dueling pianos and maybe participate in a singalong (or three) until 2 a.m. Purchase reserved seating for a complimentary bottle of champagne, or arrive when doors open to ensure standing room for the 8 p.m. show.
Reunion Tower New Year’s Celebration
500 drones, a 259-light LED display and over 5,000 pyrotechnic special effects will launch from Reunion Tower at exactly 11:59 p.m. in the tenth edition of this iconic NYE fireworks show. Though you can get a glimpse from afar, booking a room at the Hyatt Regency ensures a view from the front row. The best part about this one, though, is you can watch it all from the couch if that’s more your vibe.
Studio 54 NYE at Tower Club Dallas
1601 Elm St, 48th floor | 9 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Get a taste of New York City vibes in Dallas at the swanky Tower Club’s Studio 54-inspired party. DJ Ashton Martin will provide the disco-inspired soundtrack, while guests take in arguably the best skyline views to be found in the city. General admission includes pre-paid drinks, but VIP upgrades include premium spirits and champagne.
Thursday, Jan. 1

Combo tickets are also available so you can observe the animals during the day and stay for the lights at night.
