Tom Wilson as manure-plagued bully Biff in Back to the Future was my childhood’s idealized bully. He was a cowardly brute, pure stupid evil—barely even a human being. But as an underrated character in an unwatched show—gym teacher Coach Fredericks in Freaks and Geeks—he showed that even an overbearing tormentor could sometimes be a decent guy. For those two brilliant performances alone, he should never have to work again. But—hello, McFly!—he’s doing a stand-up tour. So why don’t you make like a tree and get out of here? Catch Wilson at the Addison Improv 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday; 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday or 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
