Enrollment is open for the Dallas Observer‘s Fourth Annual MasterMind Awards and we’d like to hear from you.

Submissions close on December 13, so scribble down your favorites and nominate Dallas’ best. We’re looking for innovators. Cultural climate shapers. People making work that pushes our city forward. That can be through film, dance, curation, performance, community organizing, education, visual art, theater, video installation or some other non-music avenue of expression.

We’re looking at all of it, and we’d like your input.

There’s a total of $6,000 up for grabs and it’s no-strings-attached. Winners can spend it however they like. Bills, projects, tequila shots — whatever. We just hope it gives a little support so our MasterMinds can continue creating great work, right here in Dallas.

Those chosen as this year’s recipients will be honored at Artopia, the Dallas Observer‘s annual celebration of all-things-artsy, happening on Saturday, January 18, 2014.

Last year’s winners were: Dylan Hollingsworth, Brian K. Jones and Brian K. Scott (Chuck and George), Carolyn Sortor, Erica Felicella, Delilah Muse and Jeffrey Schmidt.
