In the name of clarity, and before anyone gets their hopes up, Kids from Commerce isn’t a goat show, but an art show. That’s good news to most of you. Better news is what the Kids from Commerce bring to town. The exhibit features the newest work in paintings and mixed medium from six of Texas A&M University-Commerce’s undergraduate students as well as a “project space installation” from the University of Texas at Dallas’ artist-in-residence, Claudia Borgna. The reception also features Dallas artist Thorrific, who promises to entertain with a mix of audio and video projections to overwhelm your senses. The reception takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Plush Gallery, 918 Dragon St. The exhibit continues noon to 5 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays through March 26. Admission is free. Visit plushgallery.com.

Sat., Feb. 26, 6-9 p.m.; Thursdays-Sundays, 12-5 p.m. Starts: Feb. 26. Continues through March 26, 2011
