See Frankie Valli at the Meyerson I thought that the organizers of the “A Special Evening With…” fund-raisers had lost their touch. Past performers have included Tony Bennett, Ray Charles and Tom Jones, so when they announced that this year’s performance would be by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, I scratched my head in confusion. But then I realized that an appearance by the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers is quite a coup. The basis for the award-winning musical Jersey Boys, The Four Seasons brought us such memorable hits as “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Sherry” and “Walk Like a Man,” and Monday you’ll get a chance to see the doo-wop legends live, so spend A Special Evening With Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons (hosted by Alliance Data and benefiting Special Care & Career Services) 8 p.m. Monday at the Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora St. Tickets are $50 to $175. Call 972-991-6777 or visit specialcareer.org.
