With all of the variety found in Fair Park over the years–opera, ShamWow demonstrations, women’s history, funnel cakes, that bizarre Magnum P.I. ride on the midway, musical theater, auto shows, educational gardens, science and history exhibitions, Big Tex, etc.–it should be no surprise that the newly reopened Band Shell Amphitheater at Fair Park features a wide range of musical acts celebrating its new lease on life. Sunday finds Grammy Award-winning Norteno/Tejano group Intocable livening up the stage of the 4500-seat historical landmark. The Isley Brothers will offer their sweet brand of soul on June 18. And come June 20, country-crossover kings Ronnie Milsap and Glen Campbell will serenade adoring fans. And there’s more variety to come. Tickets for all shows are available by calling Ticketmaster at 214-373-8000 or by visiting ticketmaster.com. Find out more about the Band Shell Amphitheater by visiting bandshelldallas.com.
