Each year, on the third Thursday of November, Beaujolais Nouveau, red wine from the Beaujolais region of France goes on sale. As part of a national Beaujolais celebration called Nouveau Expression, winemaker Georges Duboeuf is throwing “a party of the senses,” a food and wine tasting that takes place at the Omni Dallas Hotel, 555 S. Lamar St., from 7 until 9:30 p.m. Friday. Admission is $60 in advance, $65 at the door or $55 per person for parties of four or more.
