A night on the town can be an expensive ordeal, even if all you’re after is a nice dinner and some live music. But fear not, not all fine dining requires reservations and not all shows have a two-drink minimum. Truckstock brings together food trucks, music and, yes, even a musical truck for a night of open air entertainment. As many as 17 food trucks are in on this motorcade of meals, including Gandolfo’s NY Deli, Lee’s Grilled Cheese, Jack’s Chow Hound and more. Durty Laundry, the company that put this shindig together, will be rolling up in their mobile DJ setup, the Def Star, to spin live and hock their newest custom shirts. The event takes place March 24 from 2 pm to 7 pm at Sylvan Thirty, 1818 Sylvan Ave.. Attendence is free, but the food is not. For more information visit facebook.com/durtylaundry.

Will you step up to support Dallas Observer this year?

At the Dallas Observer, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $14,500 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of the Dallas Observer, now’s the time to give back.
