Not your parents’ dinner theater, the Improv (4980 Belt Line Road, Suite 250) is hosting Tales from the Hood’s dinner play Sex, Lies & Desperate Housewives. Dubbed “the Who Done It with Ghetto Flair,” the Murder Mystery Theater event sounds like a cliché if I’ve ever heard one—no wonder it’s happening at a comedy club. Turns out, the ladies of Wisteria Lane (or the local approximation) are going to get involved with a pro-baller, so naturally a murder will ensue, and it’ll be the audience’s job to reveal the killer. Doors are at 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Tickets are $15 (not including the cost of dinner/two-item minimum). Call 972-404-8501 or visit improv2.com.
