Well, “GCB” is canceled. Come Fall you’ll have to look elsewhere to find salvation via bedazzeled craptastic television. Let’s all have a moment of silence that I’ll inevitably destroy with diabolical laughter. Done! Since you’ll be without your weekly dose of head mean girl Kristen Chenoweth (the stiletto-adorned pack leader of the couture religious posse) why not indulge with an evening in her company? This Thursday Chenoweth will perform from her musical repertoire at the Winspear, and judging by the revelment surrounding her roles in Broadway smashes like Wicked and Promises Promises this will be a tremendous night for musical theater. Chenoweth is known for crossing generational lines: fans of her Broadway and recording artist accolades tend to lean older while those who gobbled up her roles on “Glee” and the all too short lived series “Pushing Daisies” sit on the range’s younger margins. So take your mom, your daughter or your best friend to this 8 p.m. performance; everyone will score from a night with this vivacious sprite. Tickets start at $38. Buy them at tickets.attpac.org.
