More and more open-mic comedy nights are popping up in unexpected places around town, like The Amsterdam Bar and the Texas Theatre. Joker’s Wild started last fall in the Voodoo Room at House of Blues (2200 N. Lamar St.), and has now become a monthly gig for Dallas comedians, hosted by Chris Kazmarski. This month’s show is filled out by locals Corey Sutton, Usama Siddiquee, Vince Quick, Howard Goldthwaite and Craig Coleman. Even better: The show is free, which leaves you more drinking money.
