My mom was a bookkeeper for MJ Designs, and she didn’t get out of there without becoming crafty with glitter-glazed pine cones, wire ribbon and Styrofoam berries. Mom’s busy this year, but you can check out wreaths made by some of the (second) best designers in Dallas at the DIFFA Holiday Wreath Collection Event. Guests can bid on wreathage while downing cocktails and munching hors d’oeuvres by Wolfgang Puck Catering–just like the good ol’ MJ days. Check out the Holiday Wreath Collection 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Tower Residences at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas. Tickets are $50. Call 214-748-8580 or visit diffadallas.org.
