Alamo Drafthouse Richardson Will Open in August

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, the movie theater that brings together that rare and wonderful combination of good beer and good movies, has finally announced an opening date for their Dallas-Fort Worth theater. Alamo Drafthouse Richardson will open Friday, August 16, at 100 S. Central Expressway in the Richardson Heights Shopping Center.

One of the ten best theaters in the world according to CNN, Alamo shows first-run movies along with independent and alternative films, and the new Richardson location will have an extensive menu of in-house made food, along with craft beer, wine, cocktails, and most importantly, adult milkshakes. We're keeping our fingers crossed that this fall they'll be showing Ridley Scott's Counselour, because nothing begs for an adult milkshake more than a screenplay by Cormac McCarthy.
